DAY 2 - Seminar Ambassadors of Change
A wonderful jam session around the campfire yesterday ! All kinds of vibrations were heard from guitars, drums, flute and voices.
Now for the first learning day!
After this session with Céline Colombier ( Ver de Terre Production ), we understand that there are as many choices to grow vegetables as there are types of soil x gardener's goals. And we enjoyed a passionate, well sourced and yet cautious and open minded approach.
Fascinating science inputs with many field examples in the morning, onsite observation using (almost) all our senses in the afternoon.
We learned how to take the first steps in planning our market garden. Through the example of The Northern Lights, we saw the actual thing in practice.
And now, what would we do at our farm/at home/if we had a farm?
If we wanted to do a bit of anthropomorphy, we'd summarize the biggest lesson of the day like that : feed the soil, not the plant. So that they work together and create long term fertility
